The House Witch is a delightful and charming fantasy romance novel that will make you fall in love with the characters and their magical world. The story follows Finlay Ashowan, a witch who works as a royal cook for the king of Ardenia. When a mysterious threat puts the kingdom in danger, Finlay must work with the knights to protect their home.

The book is well-written, with a captivating plot, witty dialogue and vivid descriptions. It’s the kind of book that will put a smile on your face, and make you laugh out loud often. The author creates a rich and immersive world of magic, politics, and romance, with a dash of humor and mystery. The characters are likeable and realistic, with distinct personalities and flaws. If you are looking for a fun and enchanting read, it’s for you.

It uses omniscient and quick narration, a style I’m not familiar with but beginning to love. I have read the first two books in the series and they are both equally entertaining. It’s a continuing series, and other than book one, can’t be read as a standalone. My favourite thing about these books is how the author has combined the elements of fantasy, historical romance, mystery, and humour to create a world everyone can enjoy reading about.
